At Oxford University, New College was founded in 1379. It is called "New" College because Oxford was founded in 1096 (roughly).

"Very old campus"? My first thought was Hogwarts! Good puzzle!

John's quote in #11 is one of my favorites. A fun bit of comparative history is that Oxford University was created before the Aztec empire had even begun.
