This is killing my computer -- anyone else on firefox having a problem with scripts timing out?

Mary - yes, I had problems with the scripts timing out, and I'm also on firefox. But actually, I'm grateful for the timeouts, because on my laptop - where there are no timeouts - the puzzle just made my whole system freeze up and I had to do a hard reboot.

Also, I'm given to understand that if you disable the auto-checker that cuts way down on timeouts.
