That is one be-donk-a-donk for sure! Poor girl got sunburned! I hope that water is cold!

Wowser puzzle. Fun to solve, even with the guessing.
#5: Mark Conger (aruba) on Apr 30, 2009
I don't think I guessed at all.

When I was done with line solving/color logic, I was left with only blue on the left middle. If you try to fill in R11C2 and R11C3, then row 10 will be invalid. So R11C2 is a dot. If you try to fill in R11C3 and R11C4, then R9C3 and R9C4 would be dots causing row 9 to be invalid as the "2 2" clues could not be place then. So R11C3 is also a dot and then R9C3 can be filled in.

I next looked at R7C4. If this is filled in, then the rest of column 4 are dots. This would cause both R6C2 and R9C2 to be filled in, which would make column 2 invalid. So R7C4 is a dot. Using that same logic, R8C4, R10C4, R11C4, R12C4, and R13C4 are also dots. This allows R11C6 to be filled in and R10C6 and R12C6 to be dots.

Next look at row 11. Notice that either R11C5 or R11C7 has to be filled in. This will cause either R13C5 or R13C7 to be a dot respectively. So you will have to use the 2 clue in column 5 or column 7 in rows 12 and 13. So the 1 clue in row 12 will be in column 5 or 7. So R12C8 is a dot.

The puzzle plays out normally from there. I'm not sure if this is the most efficient way to get to the solution, but it works.

Yicks. I followed through that, and it works, but I think your third paragraph is a bit too multi-step to make me happy. So I guess it needs some guessing (unless you are smarter than me, which is hereby officially declared unacceptable).

Has she been corseting?
Wait, technically it could be a he. A very... interesting he.

I think we need to tell Cro about this one! :-) With those curves, has to be female.

LOL! Me no like guessing, but me like image!
:-P

I will like the experts to review this one again. I was able to do it w/o guessing, placing the 2 blue in column 2.
#12: Gator (Gator) on Jan 16, 2011 [HINT]
Jota - I looked at this one again. I'm not sure how you got the 2 clue placed, but I did find something on row 13. No matter where the 2 clue in row 13 is placed, either R12C5 or R12C7 will be blue. Therefore, R12C8 will also be a dot(different method than my third paragraph above, but some result).

Found to be logically solvable by Gator.

Gator I probably looked ahead w/o realizing it.
#15: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Aug 17, 2014 [HINT]
I did it a bit differently than Gator.

After LL/CL,

The bottom blue 1 in c8 must be in either r12 or r13. If it is in r12, then r12's clues are used up. That leaves nowhere for the blue 2 in r13 to go (as anywhere it goes it will cross a 2). Therefore the bottom 1 in c8 can't be in r12 and c8r12 must be white.

Edge logic on either the 2 in c2 or the 2 in r11 makes c2r11 white.

Edge logic on the 2 in r11:
There are now three places it could be. if it is in either c3-4 or c4-5, then the rest of c4 (r6-9) must be white causing the left 2s in r6 and r9 to both protrude into c2 making a conflict. Therefore the 2 in r11 must be in the third choice, c5-6.

Then LL to finish.
