Beautiful image! What a wonderful memory for you!
#4: Teresa K (fasstar) on Mar 25, 2009
Thanks, Tonia.
#5: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Mar 25, 2009
Teresa, this is by far my favorite puzzle of yours. Outstanding detail in a small B/W, with an excellent "funness" factor to boot. Congrats (in advance)on winning this weeks WC #29. :-)
#6: Teresa K (fasstar) on Mar 25, 2009
Thanks, Adam. I'm not sure it's good enough to win (the competition is getting better and better), but it would be nice to see my name on the Honors page on Sunday night. :-)
#7: Steve Johnson (swjohnson12) on Mar 25, 2009
You continue to amaze us all! You are definitely one of (if not the most) creative and artistic PBN puzzlers on this site!!!!!!!!!!!

Bravo!
#8: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Mar 25, 2009
Yes indeed. Your creativity is unmatched.
#9: Teresa K (fasstar) on Mar 25, 2009
Gee, thanks, guys! (blush, blush)
#10: Jota (jota) on Mar 25, 2009
Thanks for continuing to participate in the WC.
I always wanted one of this. May be someday ...
#11: Shae (shaekin) on Mar 26, 2009
I concur! With all of the above! It's a very good detailed puzzle. :)
#12: Beth (Shasta) on Mar 26, 2009
I am just speechless that you could get this on a 40x40 grid-amazing detail and very fun. Thanks!!
#13: Teresa K (fasstar) on Mar 26, 2009
Thanks, Beth. This was my third attempt. The first two were not solvable. Some puzzles are trickier to create than to solve.
#14: Joseph Jessen (gijoex2) on Mar 26, 2009
Teresa, WOW!
#15: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Mar 29, 2009
Teresa, regardless of the final decision of the current "judges," you still won easily in this judge's opinion.
#16: Teresa K (fasstar) on Mar 29, 2009
Thanks, Adam.
#17: Jota (jota) on Mar 29, 2009
Congratulations !!!
#18: Teresa K (fasstar) on Mar 29, 2009
Thank you.
#19: Sylvain "WCPman" (qwerty) on Mar 30, 2009
man it was your choice to drop out so you don't have the option to weigth in on the selection of the winner

By the way it was very close between the two and this puzzle is amazing
#20: Jota (jota) on Mar 30, 2009
You are right BOSS, he left me with the mess and now he sits back and criticizes me.
#21: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Mar 30, 2009
OMG, people... calm down.
#22: Jota (jota) on Mar 30, 2009
Don't tell me you took seriously the end of that phrase, Adam. You should know me better by now.
#23: Teresa K (fasstar) on Mar 30, 2009
I actually wasn't sure how serious you and Silvain were either, because I didn't seen any LOL or smiley face. When reading comments without the LOL or smiley face, we naturally take them at face value.

I do appreciate Adam's positive comments and opinion as an ex-judge - that kind of makes up for the harsh criticisms of my earlier puzzles, as valid and constructive as those criticisms might have been, and which I can appreciate more now. :-)
#24: Jota (jota) on Mar 30, 2009
I'm always serious unless I sound serious.
#25: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Mar 30, 2009
Thank you Teresa. Ditto the first paragraph of #23.
#26: Sylvain "WCPman" (qwerty) on Mar 30, 2009
I' m never serious and your puzzle was amazing, but Jota and I decide that the big wheel a bit better that all, I wont be mad at anybody if someone criticize our choice its not an easy job and its all in the view of those who do it. Adam and I had many discusion when he was judge pleading for a puzzle or another so that the other change his mind that part of the game and it why I don't judge by my own.

Attacking Adam is like a running gag its never serious but always give result ...lol ( I put the lol this time)

I think one of the reason for this small contreversy is the factor of B&w vs colour many of the user here prefer classic b&w puzzle over colour one. This is the case of a great b&w vs a great colour and everyone have they favorite.

that being said I hope nobody got their feeling hurt from that judgement call nor by the comment that follow.

Lets see if Terasa can steal first place by winning this week WC challenge.....
#27: Jota (jota) on Mar 30, 2009
I couldn't have said it better!
#28: Teresa K (fasstar) on Mar 30, 2009
Okay, I feel better now knowing you guys were just kidding. It was getting a little uncomfortable. I was beginning to feel like the kid in the middle of a messy divorce. Waaaaaaaahhhhhhh. J/K

I sometimes worry that the B/W format is not exciting enough to elicit favor from the judges. Color puzzles are fun to make and prettier to look at. B/W are more popular, according to people's comments, and I believe they are more challenging to create, especially in the smaller grid, so I believe it takes more talent to produce a good quality B/W puzzle. I like the challenge, so I make B/W when I can, partly for the personal satisfaction and partly to please the puzzlers here, and it is worth sacrificing the winner position on the honors page, which is not as important to me as pleasing the puzzlers with a good B/W. So, let's see what I come up with. Hmmmmmm. I already did a puzzle with this week's theme, and wow was that one ever hard to do.

Jota, you inspired me to do the "Magical Wishes" puzzle because of your granting everyone their Christmas wish when you first became a judge. :-)

Dear Teresa: you are way too kind, but it's not the first time I've noticed this. I have a "god daughter" which I didn't Baptized because her parents are not catholic. she calls me Fairy God Mother, how dear is your puzzle to my heart ?
#30: Jane Doe (telly) on Mar 31, 2009
excellent puzzle. It looks so similar to the doll house my dad built for me when I was younger. very nice. :)

I was going to ask if you still had it but you answered in #2. Amazing detail for the size.
#33: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Feb 19, 2011
just when i think one of your puzzles is my favorite, i complete another one and then IT becomes my favorite. this is stunning in detail, design, everything. i can't believe how discernible the images are at such a tiny size: refrigerator, stove, lamp, couch, toilet, sink, crib, dresser. i was at the end when i started solving the stairs - that was very fun. i felt like i was inside the dollhouse myself. wow - this was a treat.
#34: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 20, 2011
Thanks, Linda. This is one of my favorites too.
#35: Luis Cavazos (luishifto) on Oct 24, 2012
I like the story about the puzzle.
#36: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Dec 8, 2012

#37: Synthia McBride (synthia) on Jun 3, 2014
This is an amazing puzzle. I can recognize every piece of furniture. You did a great job.
#38: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jan 31, 2019
Fantastic! My dad made a house for my Barbies. I remember one room had a velvety greenish-brown carpet that my dad described as "baby sh*t"
#39: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 1, 2019
A home-made Barbie house? How cool! I know that color of carpet, was in our first house (and I picked out the color). Everything was "avocado green." (✬‿✬)
