It's me! I'm wondering if anyone else here has published a self-portrait. I really don't have a huge ego, I just thought it would be fun.

I had to remove the wrinkles and frown lines in order to make it solvable. :-)

Anybody else wanna give it a try? Oh come on - I wanna see your face!

I've been thinking about making a self portrait... I think I'll continue to THINK about it a little longer. I haven't had time to make ANY puzzles lately, anyway. I've hardly had time to solve a puzzle daily!

I didn't recognize you, and especially after reading your description where you said we should be able to guess from the title. You are the least egotistical person I know. I read your articles and stuff, and saw your pictures, and I never would have guessed. "Not-so-recent" meaning how long?

Ten years maybe. The news article link you saw had more recent pictures, that's what I really look like now. I'm glad you liked the puzzle.

The title made me think of the Carly Simon song "You're So Vain".

I did one of the back of your head! (I believe you misinterpreted your "hair" as a big hat, but it made more sense that way, as you were painting 'en plein air' in the image.)

I don't remember that one, Kirsten. Do you have a puzzle number to reference? I always enjoyed your puzzles, maybe I'll give it another solve.
