He looks like he is floating in midair on a hover craft or a round flying carpet. It also looks like he is standing on top of one of those high grassy areas on Super Mario Bros. level 5-3 (see this link to compare, if you don't know to what I am referring): http://www.nesmaps.com/maps/SuperMarioBrothers/images/SMB5-3BG.png

He's surfing isn't he? :) I think he looks really great. Good work! I made a puzzle of my own dog. Not as easy as I thought it would be.
