Is this solvable by logic?

I was able to guess a solution, but logic didn't get me far.

I'm having a terrible time with it....

Have to guess what goes on in the last three rows and last four columns.

I count two solutions. Good subject. What's the blue stuff?

Somewhere between comment #2 and comment #3, this puzzle was completely revised, rotating the subject 45 degrees and adding color.

The old version was pretty much impossible. The new version has a little ambiguity in the lower right corner, but there are only two possibilities and it is easy to guess the right one.

Yes. two solutions. I think it`s "best" when the being discussed part in the last row is placed on the right.
