Maybe the problem is that he was on his cell phone when the accident occurred. Too many people do that, you know.

Or he had the accident after his bar visit.

I thought from the picture that his cell phone had started to emit clouds of black smoke and had then burst into sudden and magnificent flames. I'm glad something less alarming than that is going on.
