Hmmm...solves nicely enough, but kind of an ugly image. I wonder if anyone at all recognizes this. Oh well.

I do. One of my favorite childhood stories. I never saw the movie. I knew, even as a kid, that a movie could never do the story justice.

I recognized what the image would be long before I was finished. Ditto #7 - solving was real slow going for me on this one but I just kept picking away at it until done.

Replying to Jan's comment #1: I recognized it!

Brian, that made me laugh really hard!

I think this puzzle is an example of old puzzles that seemed much harder than they would be considered today. This puzzle is marked Intermediate, but I'd say it's someplace between "beginner" (one star out of five for difficulty) and "easy" (two stars). For whatever that's worth.
