Puzzle Description:

An orange (Yeah I know, the orange is red XD, but it's not my fault that there is no orange color XD)

"XD???"
#2: Jane Doe (telly) on Feb 10, 2009
It's a smile, I think Adam. ;)
#3: Minnie Fuerstnau (m.fuerstnau) on Feb 10, 2009 [SPOILER]
For some reason it looks orange to me- must be wishful thinking!
#4: Merili (merilinnuke) on Feb 11, 2009 [SPOILER]
At first I saw a red cranberry, but after reading the description I saw an orange orange :) Mind works in mysterious ways...

XD = a smiley with D for the mouth and X for the eyes. Essentially meant to immitate a big cheesy grin so big in fact that you squint your eyes. XD can also be parallel to LOL. Also, the more D's trailing the X the bigger the grin/laugh. ex: XDDDDDDD!! is equivalent to ROFLMAO

Good magic trick - making the red look like orange!
#7: Jan Wolter (jan) on Jul 15, 2009
It's amazing how color perception adapts to expectation.

It really is true that we see what we expect to see. At least in this case it works to our advantage! When it comes to opinions and beliefs, I'm afraid it works against us rather badly. But in this case, I'm glad that the orange can look orange to me!

Maybe it's a blood orange.
