fun puzzle.
The list sounds good to me. Add respect...and just because I'm religious, I'd like faithful in there too, for me personally. (I'm not trying to spark another religion debate though.) :)
I'm sure I could add a few more if I think a bit harder.
In my opinion #12 and 13 are the same.

From the puzzle alone (and not the description or the comments) it looks like what women want is a man with a HUGE HEAD! Hopefully one full of brains, right??? :-) Oh, and bringing them a flower doesn't hurt, does it?

Fun to solve; cute image.

I agreed with Jane. Add respect. Also, I would add support. I have been married for 30 years and I think that the mutual desire to have children was important for the two of us. Great puzzle and I enjoy the thoughts that go with it.
#5: Beth (Shasta) on Feb 8, 2009
This is clearly a list for people still looking. Fun puzzle-thanks
#6: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 8, 2009 [SPOILER]
At the top of my list would be Integrity. That would include honesty and sincerity. Next I would have Respect, and that would include some of the others, like manners, consideration, and thoughtfulness. Spirituality and shared common interests are important too. Financial stability would cover the car-house-job.

All that being said, there has to be some sexual chemistry or it won't go anywhere. Now don't you think my guy with the big head and a rose and a smile is kinda sexy?

I want to know "what women want"....I will add to this comment as I solve this puzzle.

Second comment: (at this point pending until I edit this...hopefully I won't get stuck or bored lol...since it's Teresa I think that probability is...negligable (help me people, did I spell that correctly?)
#8: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 8, 2009 [SPOILER]
JoDeen, I hope you are neither stuck nor bored. It is easier to solve this puzzle than it is to find the Perfect Man. You won't get stuck by the rose either, because Mr. Perfect cut the thorns off when he cut it from the rose bush in his garden.

4. Sense of Humor: Jasper Carrott (a stand-up comedian) had a few things to say about that one :P

As for the puzzle, man, look at the smarmy grin on that guy. It's the sort of face you just want to punch XD
#10: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Feb 8, 2009
"Smarmy" is one of the coolest words ever.
#11: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Feb 8, 2009
& I was hoping for Mel Gibson :)

(you know the movie he did titled the same as your puzzle)
#12: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 8, 2009 [SPOILER]
Ah, Nancy, I figured you had already done him or will do him, so I just did a little cartoony guy. But you can imagine this one is Mel. Actually, I made him look like my Ex, who was very romantic, and gave me roses from his garden, and yes he cut the thorns off, and yes he was very sexy and romantic and had a smarrmy smile, and had all but one of the traits listed above. The one that was missing was Honesty, as he apparently was using his smarmy charm on two other women besides me. Nuff said about my Mr. Almost Perfect.

Adam, as you can tell, I like that word too. lol
#13: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Feb 8, 2009
Teresa, apparently he was also missing #6, #7, #12, and #13 as well! Not to mention #2.
#14: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 8, 2009 [SPOILER]
Oh, he was sensitive and considerate and thoughtful - to each one of us. And he was so convincing I think he believed his own lies most of the time. He was smart, but not quite smart enough. I think he underestimated my ability to find him out. When I checked up on him and caught him, he was truly surprised, almost didn't believe I would suspect anything. Yeah, I guess he wasn't so smart after all. That was 10 years ago, and I never tried again. I think I will stick with the cartoony guy here. :)
#15: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Feb 8, 2009
I was just saying that a truly thoughtful, sincere, and considerate man would consider your feelings and how his actions would affect you. Since he obviously didn't, that was the basis of my comment #13.
#16: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 8, 2009
You are absolutely right!
#17: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Feb 8, 2009
you can never have too many Mel Gibsons :)
#18: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 8, 2009
And Nancy is absolutely right also! hehehe
#19: Jane Doe (telly) on Feb 8, 2009 [SPOILER]
I just solved your Mel Gibson tonight Nancy.
What a 'co-inky-dink'!
lol :)
#20: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Feb 9, 2009 [SPOILER]
I finally solved it tonight! I enjoyed it...and my thought was it looks just like my ex-husband...if you take the rose out of his hand and the smile off his face lol.

#21: Jota (jota) on Feb 28, 2009
I want Mc Dreamy!
#22: Teresa K (fasstar) on Feb 28, 2009
I like McSteamy!
#23: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Jan 15, 2011
wonderful puzzle - the image made me chuckle. this day and age i have to say that "sanity" tops my list.
#24: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Dec 18, 2017
Teresa, I have got to tell you that as I was solving and hadn't yet finished the rose, I thought it would be a picture of a guy taking out the trash. Lol, the perfect man certainly does that and other helpful things around the house. And I like the cartoony, smarmy grin, too. He looks funny.
#25: Teresa K (fasstar) on Dec 18, 2017
Oh yes, Aurelian. There's nothing sexier than a guy who willingly takes care of the yucky chores.
