Puzzle Description:

Pointing fingers at each other. When parents fight, sometimes it's the children who get hurt. And they often think it's their fault. Part of the image is taken from the cover of a book by Ashleigh Brilliant, "We've been through so much together, and most of it was your fault."

I like the name of that book. ;) lol

Interesting concept. I like the handcuffs! (wink wink)
#3: Petra Lassen (stjarna) on Jan 28, 2009
I enjoyed it a lot!

Nice job on the chain links, especially.

Thanks, everyone. Adam, if they are going to use the handcuffs for (wink, wink), we'd better get the kids out of there! :) Of course, it would be better for the little ones to witness good lovin' than nasty fighting. Oh, they should just kiss and make up and then pay attention to the kids.

LOL, Teresa. I was referring to being arrested with my (wink wink) LOL (wink wink). :-)
#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 28, 2009 [SPOILER]
I guess you haven't been arrested lately, Adam, cuz they don't use that kind anymore, they use plastic strips. The only time I've seen chain handcuffs is in comedy movies where the guy gets tricked and left by a woman and he has to call his buddy to come rescue him from his predicament. lol
#8: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Jan 28, 2009 [SPOILER]
LOL; nope, it's been years since my last arrest. lol
I have seen those movies, too. J/W, tho... why plastic strips? Wouldn't they be easier to break? What was wrong with the metal ones?
#9: Deana L (ffswife) on Jan 28, 2009
nope... around here they still use real handcuffs. :)
#10: Teresa K (fasstar) on Jan 28, 2009 [SPOILER]
Really? Gee, that's interesting. I stand corrected. I just looked up handcuffs on wiki, where both types are described. I guess a majority of law enforcement agencies still use the standard metal type. Ouch.
#11: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Jan 28, 2009 [SPOILER]
I would think the metal ones would be more effective than the plastic, but who knows. Maybe too many inmates complained of sore wrists from the metal ones. Boo hoo. They gave up their rights when they killed people while driving drunk, mugged the poor old lady, or stole things, etc. I hope their wrists really hurt!

The plastic ones are used when they arrest a larger group of people.

When I just had the hands and not the chain yet I imagined a ZAP. There is a lot of zapping going on here in the winter.

I thought at first that the image was some kind of chain bear reference, but I'm glad it's not because I don't understand chain bear.

Neither do I, Jan.

Nice puzzle. The links were fun. The children are cute too.

Wow. This one looked like it was going to be impossible to finish when I started, but it just flowed really smoothly and I didn't get stuck at all. Good job! I also really like how the image conveys the message.

Thanks, Diana.
