No, the real reason I do mainly cartoon/animated characters is this... they are easier. I have tried creating people, and I can do them ok, (at least somewhat recognizable) but it is almost impossible to make them logically solvable without ruining the quality. Cartoons have more room to play with (making eyes larger, beaks longer, smiles wider, etc) to make them logically solvable.
