Puzzle Description:

Snuffy Smith (an old cartoon character, created by Billy DeBeck). Many of the younger generation probably won't know who this character is. Is this puzzle being rated so low because of honestly poor quality, or because people just don't know who this is?

I honestly don't know who this is...yeah that means I'm in the younger generation...hee hee. But looks just like the character when I looked him up. Well done. (as always :) )

I thought it was a drunk Mickey Mouse.... I think I may be a little young for the drinking cartoon caracters, I only found out last year that Dumbo had some moonshine in the movie, blew right over my head (thank god I guess) when I was a kid.

So how old are you Adam?

I actually recognize him, he's in my newspaper. I had trouble seeing him, but I recognized him before I finished. It's pretty good, but I can't see his mouth. Usually he has a very distinctive, open mouth, but it seems to be absent here. His ear is also questionable. The hat are eyes are the best parts, in my opinion. Neat puzzle! :)

I guessed who it was supposed to be based on the hat and the title, but the more complete it was the less it looked like him. The mouth in particular doesn't look right.

Yep, the mouth looks like a 2nd nose. Snuffy Smith was in syndication in the Birmingham Post-Herald while I was growing up, but I didn't recognize him. Looks more like a character from Popeye.

I guess I would recognize his wife Loweezy more readily.
