When I was unfamiliar with color puzzles I didn't care much for them. Now I like them as well as any, and I'm sure lots of people like them as well as I do. People even ask for more colors to use, so somebody must like them. My primary creative interest is in music, but a lot of the ways of thinking about it apply here as well. There are lots of competent and proficient musicians who create works that become tedious because they tend to become showcases for how competent and proficient they are. There are people who create simple works that are inherently pleasing, to listen to and to recreate. There are people whose joy enhances anything they create or perform, in spite of technical flaws or imperfect performances. No one ever pleases everyone, but, all criticisms to the contrary, there is little genuine suffering from a poor performance except for the disappointed performer who doesn't meet his or her own standards. Everybody has their own preferences, nobody likes everything, and a lot of people don't know what they like until somebody tells them.#5: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Dec 10, 2008
I enjoy the puzzles you create and look forward to seeing more of them. I'm sure they're going to keep getting more interesting all the time.
p.s. Don't be afraid of the space, it's your friend.
Wow, David. :-)#6: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jan 30, 2023
Could it be for James Bond's floors, in particular?#7: Bill Eisenmann (Bullet) on Nov 2, 2023
Kristen, I don't get it ...?#8: Yonah Kondor (yokon965) on Nov 2, 2023
My comment was going to be "this puzzle sucks - get it?", but I didn't want to give offense ...
I like M2's comment #3. I enjoy that sensation as well. It happens in twin-engine general aviation aircraft; you can always tell when the props are out of sync by that funny not-quite-harmonic feeling/sound in your ears.#9: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Nov 3, 2023
I believe Kristen's comment was drawing a connection from the "for your floors only" puzzle title to that of the "For Your Eyes Only" (1981) Bond movie.
Yes, Bill, I get it. *chuckles*
What Yonah said. ^_^
I guess I haven't logged in in quite a while.
