Puzzle Description:

Christmas Pudding! (Thanks, cfreer!)

I have never seen pudding that's able to stand up alone on a plate. Interesting.

That's what a traditional Christmas pudding looks like. Trust me. Or Google it!

I believe you. I was just saying I hadn't seen one before. Cool!

Pudding means dessert in lots of places.

I was very confused by that when I went to school in England. They had some sort of sponge cake in the lunch line at the cafeteria at the school, and I didn't get any one day. When I went through the check out, the lunchlady said, "Don't you want your pudding?" And I craned my neck back at the line then told the lady I didn't see any pudding. We were both confused then! I figured it out eventually.

Nice puzzle-- it solved differently than they have so far.

Ahhh, thanks for the explanation. Makes more sense now. So, when the song says, "Oh bring us some (a) figgy pudding..." is that really a pudding? Or is it something else?

maybe it just is a dessert made of figs?

I think your Advent puzzles are beautiful. Challenging for me, but worth it, definitely! Now I'm hungry, that pudding-cake looks so good. Mmmm.

It's amazing how confusing communication can be even you speak the same language.

It certaiinly looks scrummy. Not fond of christmas pud myself, but I can pretend it's chocolate :)~

Exactly. Like that word you just used... "scrummy." LOL
Is that a combination of scrumptious and yummy? I hadn't heard that word before. :-)

I presume it is, certainly sounds like it. I've never really thought about it, it just sounds tasty :D
