The one thing I didn't guess, LOL. I should have, given the fact that I own one. LOL
#3: Jen Ladano (jladano) on Nov 27, 2008
Very cute! Thank you for that.

In all fairness to you, Adam, I had not yet decided what the pixel mystery would be when I created #4141. So I picked one that you hadn't guessed. Just to keep it interesting.

Awwww, shucks!

By the way, why DID you throw in those 2 pixels? Did you really do it as a way to have a new puzzle for us to struggle through? Or was it really an accident? :-)
#7: Teresa K (fasstar) on Nov 27, 2008
Very intentional. I wanted to make it interesting.
#8: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Nov 27, 2008
Well then, thanks for clearing that up, I guess. :-)

Very fun puzzle(s). Are those tortoises (torti?) in your friend's back yard pets or do they just run around the neighborhood like squirrels?
#11: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Nov 28, 2008

Very cool. How big are the adults?
#14: Teresa K (fasstar) on Nov 29, 2008
About 12 inches, maybe a little bigger. Most of the times I have been to her house, the critters were hiding in their burrows. My friend said I shouldn't take it personally, because they spend almost all their time down there. The babies are just two or three inches when they come out of the burrows where their eggs were hatched.

I haven't told my daughter about my friend's pets, because she REALLY wants tortoises. But I'm afraid I would not be able to maintain a habitat for them. I have a hard enough time maintaining a safe habitat for my daughter (she lives in a group home). Well, that's more than you wanted to know. lol

OK...I LOVED doing this puzzle...but I don't see 2 extra pixels. Please someone, sometime take the time to explain.

The mystery pixels are in another puzzle. This puzzle is the close-up of one of the mystery pixels.

If you work the puzzle that came first (#4141), then you will understand:

Wow, I was so very very not even remotely close with my guesses.

Really enjoyed this puzzle, and the way the two puzzles were linked together was clever. Me like like!

So cute! Better than scorpions, any day!

Now I see where the idea started that was continued in your Bureau of Investigation series. :)
