It was completely solvable...but I had to use what I call "guessing". For me,there came a point, fairly early in the puzzle that I had to start in the upper left hand corner with a "what if"...after I got started on that, after a few "what ifs", I had enough to complete the rest of the puzzle. I intend to redo this puzzle to see if I missed something that would have allowed me to solve it without a "what if".
I don't call a puzzle "completely solvable by logic alone" if I have to employ a "what if".
