Valerie, right before 9x19 turns black, you can see that 13x19 can't be black (should have dotted it first), so that results in 19x9 being definitely black.

Goodness that was tough. I wish I had tracked my solve! Or, alternately, I wish I had time to look into these hint comments to help with next steps. I definitely didn't guess, but definitely stepped beyond moderate lookahead. I'll try to revisit later.

Valerie, the hint above was based on a full undo/redo of the saved puzzle. Now I noticed that the undo data is corrupted and displays incorrect cell content relative to my original solve, and so my hint is incorrect.

I'll solve the puzzle from scratch again and get back to you.

In the meantime, you can recreate the incorrect undo issue by loading my solution and doing a full undo, and you'll see that the grid is not empty.
