Adam, could you explain the smile logic? I couldn't complete the puzzle without guessing (since I expected a specific shape).

Sure, Ga, I could do that. But Jan has already nicely done it in Forum Topic #99, entitled "Advanced Puzzle Solving Techniques." If you still have any questions after reading that, I would be more than willing to try and explain it further.

Thanks, Adam and Jan, but even after going through the examples of smile logic, I still cannot complete this puzzle. I see two possible permutations rather than just one answer. In this case I know the shape, but that isn't using logic :) I suspect there is something that I am missing, but I cannot see it.
Other suggestions? Is there some way I can show you what I have? And then ask questions? I would really like to improve.

Ga, I just re-did the puzzle several times to see if there was any other possible solution, but couldn't find one (I almost thought there was one til I realized the 13 in the middle wouldn't allow me to do it) don't know if this helps you at all
