Puzzle Description:

The 8-bit version of Mario jumping over a gap and pipe. Ah the good old days!

I think this is one of my favorite small, multi-colored images on this entire site. I absolutely loved it. Mario has been done many times before (ho hum) but this was a very unique twist on the concept, with active motion (the classic outstretched arms as he jumps is timeless).
The image was excellently captured, and nearly perfectly executed. Very well done!

We can assume the hole extends way far off the to the right side of the screen, ok? :-)

I totally agree with #1, really well done!
He could fit down the pipe, we can only see part of it...and if he sucked in...lol

great image

as for the pipe just think of it as a pipe for mini-Mario in the DS title New super Mario Bros and it would be ok

I can ear the classic music playing just by looking at it

This was an excellent fun puzzle to solve, and your Mario is great, love him! Thankyou!!! :)

Okokokok...I agree that this was a fun puzzle to solve (and completely solvable by logic alone)...but not being a Mario fan, I didn't see the same wonderful image you all saw. I thought it looked like an incomplete puzzle with details not quite right...but then I don't know Mario.

I don't know Mario either, but I did like his "flying through the air" motion. Thank you for the fun puzzle!

Nick would you compete in this week's WC ? (Forum #112)

I suspected who/what it was and then the caption verified it. Fun solve. No guessing.

There've been a few Mario/Luigi puzzles, often with neat variants, but the action here makes this one of the best. Well done.
