Sure most Google'd question today isn't, "How do I emigrate to Canada?"#5: Jota (jota) on Nov 7, 2024
I believed he was forced out, why? I remember George Clooney for instance, whom I was not aware was into politics... I thought he was just an actor ...Great puzzle Belita! What do you think?#6: Belita (belita) on Nov 7, 2024
He was sort of forced out, but for his own good, and we hoped the good of the country. But he did drop out, so they can't call it a coup. How to emigrate to another country is also in the top google searches, but forget Canada. They don't want us.#7: Heather M (AuntieH) on Nov 7, 2024
Belita, We in Canada have a long history of welcoming folks seeking to flee the politics and policies of our neighbours to the south - I think of the Draft Dodgers of the 1960's, the Underground Railroad of the 1800's, and the United Empire Loyalists of the 1700's.... Having said that, don't come here thinking you're going to avoid the rhetoric/division of certain parties in the US - it's firmly entrenched in our politics and, unfortunately, will be in the forefront of our next federal election.#8: Belita (belita) on Nov 7, 2024
Well I hope Canada is smarter than the U.S. in the next election, but I read that Trudeau is limiting immigration, too.
