Mind-boggling.

The point of elections ... to choose ...

It was election fraud.
Record turnabout. And yet 10 million fewer votes total than 2020.
I'm not kidding.

People are stupid.

I know how you feel. I was despondent in 2012 and 2020.

Four years of dumbness are finally over.
Back to the smartness.

Let's not mourn. Let's prepare and resist. Support the free press that Trump has threatened. Buy a subscription to a news organization that does investigative reporting. Give gift subscriptions; buy ads. Protect our right of dissent. Go to protests or help people who do. Donate to the ACLU. Donate and volunteer for a better result next time. And we'd better be prepared for the result of tariffs : a possible recession. (But I think the business lobbyists will dissuade him from that.)

Most importantly it is midafternoon and my phone has not rung a single time. None. Zilch. Zero. For me a HUGE win.

Brian, thanks for this (again) ... it's not the first time your puzzles have done something that general commiseration can't.

I'm disgusted too. We all need time to pick ourselves up.

CEngelbrecht, I'd like to think so, but votes are still being counted on the West Coast.

Let's not disparage the people whose candidate won. We all (in the US) have the right to vote as we choose. We don't have to agree. We have to work together to make our country the best it can be. And let's not argue too much on this site. we are all here to have fun!!

Why? Because God was running low on frogs and locusts.
