That is hilarious! I can just see them.

My mother used to tell me about the time they were traveling and stopped for lunch at a roadside diner, and when the waitress asked if everything was all right, my mom (a little girl then) said shyly "My soup is cold", whereupon the waitress stuck her finger in it, said "No it isn't", and walked away.

We've probably all seen things we wish we hadn't. I was with a group from work eating our lunch at a restaurant that had decided to have a style show during the lunch hour. One of the models had waist long hair and made a turn next to our table. She did a dramatic flip of her head when she made her turn causing her hair to drag over all of our plates of food.

Ordering iced tea in a restaurant can be kind of iffy.It can go from one extreme to the other. Sometimes they will pour really hot water over a small amount of ice or they may cram as much ice into a glass as they can and then pour a tablespoon or two of tea over the ice.
