It's Ok since it's solvable. What does it mean?

Looks like a comma, then an L, then a tower-type thing. Is it a dingbat or similar?

Yes, Heath, I believe you are correct.

For Mary: we try to avoid politics and controversy on this site, but just a rebus without commentary seems harmless to me.

If you make a political puzzle, please put the word "political" in the title.

Just so you know for the future, I strongly encourage people to ask me first, before posting something they are not sure about, rather than posting and asking, "Is this okay?" (Similarly, on the e-mail lists I moderate, the phrase that makes my brain explode is "Delete if not allowed.")

When I opened up the puzzle< I assumed the question was referring to all the white space. You could always use the extra space for a 24 or a wavy American flag
