There are two stations: Gem Radio New Wave and Gem Radio Gold. Both streams are free of any advertising.

Gem Radio New Wave - plays alternative and indie songs from the 70s and 80s (and some early 90s). Their playlist is similar to that of two programs played on the Twin Cities radio station The Current (89.3 KCMP), Transmission and Teenage Kicks. Artists include The Boomtown Rats, Blondie, Duran Duran, Madness, The Police, The English Beat, and U2.

Gem Radio Gold - basically a classic hits station, playing songs from the 60s to the early 90s. The majority of songs are from the 70s. Artists include ABBA, The Beatles, Electric Light Orchestra, Fleetwood Mac, Hall & Oates, The Rolling Stones, and The Who.

Because they are based out of Dublin, most of the songs were hits in Ireland and the United Kingdom, but a decent number of songs are recognizable to American audiences.
