I wonder what sharks find under their pillows when the Shark Tooth Fairy comes to take these away and ship them to the souvenir makers.

Yes. Shark tooth necklaces are favourites at souvenir shops here in Toronto. :-)

Once when we were vacationing in the Caribbean, my wife found a section of iorn pipe crusted with barnacles. She showed it to people, telling them that it was the thigh bone of a shark. Some of them believed her - after she is a teacher and she would know that sort of thing...
