I would be lost in a metric system for sure.
My birthday is in August but thanks y'all.. I'm also old enough to remember playing 45s on the turntable so there ya go, Vicki, I made this about music for you too.

I remember when we were at a party at a folk dance camp in Nova Scotia and the people wanted to learn a rather tricky dance. There was a turntable with continuously adjustable speed control. We started dancing with the speed below 33 1/3, (for a 45 record) as people were getting comfortable the teacher would leave the set and bump the speed up. He got it up the 45 fairly quickly, but kept going. We ended up at 78 - almost double the normal speed. Those were hot shot dancers who picked things up very quickly. Then we did the dance again, still at 78, but switching the men and women into each other's positions. That had a rocky start but we got it back together in time to complete the dance successfully.

The dance was "Levi Jackson Rag" - a 5 couple "square" dance.

When we wanted to have our puppets sing a song, we would turn the speed up on the turntable. As a matter of fact, that's what they did with the original Alvin and the Chipmunks song.
