Growing up in Venezuela, we had one too. A lock on the zero, so you could not make long distance calls! And to know the time you had to dial 19. ;-)

Aww Yonah, that must've been scary for you. My kids wouldn't know how to use either I bet and they're in their 20s now. Yes BARB I remember many nights calling into radio stations lol... good times.
