#2: Leigh Cousins (pog) on Oct 12, 2008
But what is it and why is it 'cute'?
#3: Jan Wolter (jan) on Oct 12, 2008
Multiple solutions as well as non-representational is enough to make this not worth anyone's time. I think I will unpublish it.
#4: Jane Doe (telly) on Oct 14, 2008
Now it's totally solvable, but still, I'm unsure as to what this series is supposed to be of.
#5: Marie-Louise Ambrey (marz) on Oct 14, 2008
Abstract cuteness? Cute abstractness? I don't mind solving them :)
#6: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Oct 14, 2008
Yes, they are ugly as sin, but relatively fun to solve.
#7: Beth (Shasta) on Oct 15, 2008
Fun to solve but I like a prize at the end.
#8: Stephanie T (laalbacoronada) on Oct 16, 2008
I'm with you guys on this. Easy to solve, no guessing (though I may have just guessed right without realizing it) but what the heck is it? So anticlimactic
#9: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Oct 16, 2008 [SPOILER]
Stephanie, there is no answer to "what the heck is it?" It is just random black dots. Seriously.
#10: Jota (Jota) on Oct 18, 2008
Please un-publish this!
#11: Jan Wolter (jan) on Oct 19, 2008
I did. It came back. But it came back with a unique solution, so I guess it is now over the threshold of publshability.
#12: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Oct 19, 2008
WHAT????....Jan...it came BACK?! Seriously?

Aren't you the...er, king of this site?

Is this site haunted or something? lol It's baaAAAA-ack...
#13: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Oct 19, 2008
LOL Jota.
#14: Jane Doe (telly) on Oct 19, 2008
she made a new version and that's why it came back and all of these as you put it "haunt" us.
#15: Jota (Jota) on Oct 19, 2008
It came back as the same piece of pie?
#16: Jane Doe (telly) on Oct 20, 2008
is that what this is supposed to look like? a piece of pie?
#17: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Oct 20, 2008
No, Telly, this looks like the vomit AFTER eating a piece of pie.

:-)
#18: Beth (Shasta) on Oct 21, 2008
LOL
#19: Meg Smith (mamadragonfreak) on Oct 22, 2008 [SPOILER]
you are all being MEAN instead of creative!
i see a cow looking at me
and the rear end of another cow in the distance up in the left hand corner.
perhaps some of you could take another look!
#20: Marie-Louise Ambrey (marz) on Oct 22, 2008
Ahhhh yes, I see them now! :)
#21: Arduinna (arduinna) on Nov 25, 2008 [SPOILER]
I had to read the comments before I rated this one to make sure I wasn't missing something. I think Meg is right-- it's definitely a cow. Or maybe my black and white cat who looks like a cow...
#22: Byrdie (byrdie) on Dec 13, 2008
The aftermath of a paint-ball fight?
#23: Twillis (twillis) on Dec 29, 2008
Although the final image is not interesting, I found the process of solving it interesting.
#24: Cro-Magnon (Hermit) on Nov 26, 2009 [SPOILER]
Good difficulty for a small puzzle, but what is it? If I tip my head to the left, I see a duck in what is then the lower left, and perhaps some clouds in the sky. Can't tell for sure what is on the right though. Tipping my head to the right and upside down only resulted in mild dizziness. :-S
#25: Jota (jota) on Nov 26, 2009
If you come from the paleolithic and don't know ... go figure.
#26: Cro-Magnon (Hermit) on Nov 26, 2009
:-D
#27: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Apr 13, 2010
it still has several solves in 2010
#28: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Apr 29, 2010
No, Tom, it's definitely logically solvable. (I just did it.)
#29: Jodi Olson (Jodi145) on Jun 16, 2010 [SPOILER]
aw, folks! it IS cute! it's a white poodle with one of those fancy hairdo's ~ my family used to have a toy one in black, so i recognized him (ours named Playboy!) immediately. The rest of the white is just to frame him since he's so conceited (*
#30: Martha Valdés (maval) on May 14, 2011
Cute??? This puzzle is as nonsense as the description.
#31: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jul 26, 2011 [SPOILER]
darn, I was hoping for a description in the comments. I see a white cat being petted by a boy at the far right...during a thunderstorm?
#32: Jota (jota) on Jul 26, 2011
Lay down the caffeine Kristen.
#33: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Aug 27, 2012 [SPOILER]
i thought it was a sewing machine with scraps of fabric strewn about...but I can see Kristen's image too. that's a big cat!
#34: Yonah Kondor (yokon965) on Jan 7, 2022 [SPOILER]
It's baaa-aaaack! :) (Featured Puzzles, today)

No need for a rewarding image (though that would have been a nice addition); the reward of "Yahoo! You solved it!" is, in itself, enough.

I like to look at this as a cartographic representation of a new world. It's your guess as to whether white represents solid (land?) or liquid (water?).
#35: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Jan 7, 2022 [SPOILER]
As I was solving it, I was expecting it to "pop" -- but it didn't.

It looks to me a little like fences in a farmyard. Sort of.
#36: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Jan 7, 2022
Hm. Maybe it's time to increase the minimum puzzle quality rating for the system to select them to be featured.
