Apologies for the stream of comments here ... for some reason I'd written down a wrong solution. Juli's phrase is, in fact, a proper palindrome. Mine was not! Spoiler in the next comment.

I originally drew it as a Brick Crib, but Birch Crib is in fact the proper palindrome.

This does not make sense to me. Simply putting two random words together is not what a palindrome is supposed to be.

Can't a crib be made out of birch? Of course it wouldn't be sitting in a tree.
