Wow, I didn't know that. Sounds a bit restrictive. My phone was attached to the kitchen wall by a cord until 2018. I didn't get a smart phone until we moved. Now I misplace my phone often enough that my husband and I have an app to help locate our phones when we misplace them. Never have and never will own a cell phone. I cherish my connection to and relationship with the real/natural world and the people who inhabit it and that includes everyone I've "met" in this wonderful corner of that world.
