Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by wombatilim.

I worked and worked to get to 83% yesterday. Came back today and it's red dots everywhere :P Three quarters of the rows and columns. The new version is MUCH easier. Kind of wish I had the old version to attempt to complete, but it was probably for the best that it was redone to prevent the chance that it needed guessing...and I like the picture better this way :D

Similar comment to dbouldin's, but I'm more pissed than relieved. The final picture was already obvious from the easier top half and I'll probably enjoy the new version more, but I wasted a large part of two days with nothing to show for it, so I'm pretty annoyed about that.

So yeah, that was a whole lot easier, though clearing and working from the incomplete previous version was problematic for saving and retrieving. Better to completely scrap it and start from scratch.

That's what I did, as well, Michael, except I had done many PBN printed puzzles before I finally went online looking for more challenges. ;-) I like it, Brian!

I figured it was Spock by the hairstyle but got stuck and unable to completely solve.
