Lol, Koreen...my daughter and her husband live in Independence, Oregon. He's the official hydrogeologist (groundwater)for the city of Salem. They love living there and he loves his work. Sounds like fun. Independence is a nice alternative to Salem, for sure. I'm not a fan of city traffic.
