It is not trivially solvable. It is the simplest of line logic, but you still have to look at both sets of clues to know where to place various blocks.#4: Valerie Mates (valerie) on Mar 1, 2023 [SPOILER]
With a trivial solve, you can just follow along and place the numbers as you see them in the clues. (For example, if C1 had been 1 black and 4 red, so that's what you put in the grid)

This was meant to be an easy guess, but unfortunately I realized I could have made things easier with an additional clue. I thought this would be slick and simple.
