If you Google Mario Bros in pixels you will discover that a large number of Marios puzzles were copies.

Fun puzzle.

Back in the old Commodore 64 days, I used to play Jumpman a lot, which bears many similarities to Lode Runner. Another one that was somewhat similar play style was Wizard, which I found I actually liked more than Jumpman. There were a lot of C-64 games that I enjoyed at the time, but I have a hard time remembering them all, now.

Some of the ones I can remember were Kaiv, Impossible Mission, Pole Position, Mr. Robot and His Robot Factory, Miner 2049er, and Shamus. I remember another one I liked that sort of reminds me of Shamus in play style, but in a midieval setting where your player has a sword, but I can't recall the name of it.

I remember the names of these games but I guess I considered myself too old to indulge. My kids did, though. My son would have turned 70 this month, so that's a loooooong time ago LOL

Yes, Valerie, Pitfall Harry was the name of the Indiana Jones-type main character. :)
