So many of them... 5 or 6 obvious ones, I'm counting up to 11 squares (that I could comfortably justify); I'm sure there are more.

I count 14 squares.

I count 10:

-1 big
-4 medium
-4 small white
-1 small black in the centre

Not to mention the 400 1x1, the 361 2x2, the 324 3x3, the 289 4x4, the 256 5x5, the 225 6x6, the 196 7x7 ...

Bananas' 10, plus four black ones formed from the corners of the big square an d the inner corners of the four medium, each surrounding the 4 small white squares.
