Man this is challenging! I've used deep lookahead and have made it 93%. If this does end up needing guessing, I'd be surprised if it's "much". Won't resort to it for now...the fun continues!

Found to be solvable with deep lookahead by dbouldin.

Wow! Did it. Wish I had tracked my solve, but definitely didn't guess. This is one of the rare times that I know FOR SURE I did deep lookahead :) Nice challenge!

Initial line & color logic completes 85% with only black remaining.

R29: Whether C23 or C24 is black, it will place the remaining black 1 to the right of the red in R30. R30 C22 and C25-26 are white. R31 also only has a black 1 remaining in that section, so we can mark R31C23 white as well.

C4: If R25 is white, it leaves nowhere for the 1 in R24 to go, so R25C4 is black. LL.

R32: Whichever way the 3 goes, R33C15 is white. LL.
R34: Regardless of whether the 4th 1 clue goes into C12 or C13, R35C12 is black. LL.
C5: EL marks R37 white. LL.

R37: There are two 3 clues and three spaces to put them in (C6-9, C12-14, and C16-19). If we put 3s into the second two spaces, we're unable to complete the 3 in R36. Therefore R37 C6-9 must be black.

LL to finish. Nothing in here counts as "deep," so I'll update the rating.
