Puzzle Description:
Dr. Suess's Cat in the Hat. I had to shave off his whiskers to make the puzzle work.

First color puzzle I ever created, and first color puzzle I ever solved.#2: Mark Conger (aruba) on Oct 28, 2004 [SPOILER]
I still think the hat looks like a monster. :)#3: jojo pea (bopeep) on Nov 4, 2004 [SPOILER]
The whiskers would be nice, but it is a lovely portrait of a beloved feline.#4: Martial (marso) on Nov 3, 2007

Good job! Thanks :)#6: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Sep 19, 2008 [SPOILER]
Yep, I see the monster too! It's the "eyes" that make it what way (of course in addition to the "mouth"). :-)#7: Scott C (estray98) on Nov 12, 2008 [SPOILER]

I was about 13 seconds into solving the red at the top when I knew what it would be. Nicely done.#9: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Sep 15, 2009
Really? About 13? Not about 10 or about 15, huh? :-)#10: Byrdie (byrdie) on Sep 15, 2009
Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all night.#11: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Sep 15, 2009

I did not notice the monster hat when I finished solving, but when I looked back, there it was. Now I like the image even more. :-)#13: Teresa K (fasstar) on Dec 29, 2009 [SPOILER]
Even without the whiskers, this is delightful!#14: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Aug 24, 2010 [SPOILER]
cool cat indeed#15: Diana W (aeris) on Feb 3, 2011 [SPOILER]
Very nice. There was some very interesting color logic here, where I was able to solve the top red part of the puzzle like it was a separate puzzle.
