yeah, Belita...does look like a mean rat. like something I saw in a movie, but for the life of me I can't remember it. It'll pop in my noodle later, I'm sure

It's great to see a new puzzle (well, puzzles, including the other one) from someone I see a lot of in the old puzzles and their comments.

I used edge logic too as you did, but there's enough up in the air that I'm vaguely worried I missed some line logic WebPBN's hints didn't suss.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by valerie.

Like the others, I used internal edge logic on the 5 in column 19. The rest was line logic.

Nice puzzle.
