And thanks for all the fish dolphin, or maybe it looks more like a whale

Nice one! And I always appreciate references to the Hitchhikers Trilogy. :)

Trilogy? I think they're up to five or six now. But my son just told me that "trilogy" is a joke, so okay, I'm out of the loop! Great puzzle, by the way.

I don't think Douglas Adams had a specific number of books in mind. He wrote the original one and was done. Then thought of a sequel. Then added a third book, so people called it a trilogy. Then a fourth and later a fifth book happened, but people jokingly still called it a trilogy. After one of the earlier books he swore that he wasn't going to write any more in the series, and then after the next book he swore on the graves of his ancestors that he wouldn't add to the series, and then after that he swore on the graves of his *friends'* ancestors that there wouldn't be any more. Maybe he planned it that way, but it seemed to me like the books just occasionally popped out. Or, well, not exactly popping; Adams was famous for struggling with writer's block and with missing deadlines. So it was more like a lot of unplanned pregnancies and agonizing labors?

Loved your style of delivering the info, pun intended, Valerie!

Ha!

And there's a 6th book, written posthumously by Eoin Colfer. He had the blessing of Adams' family, and he definitely *tried* to do DNA justice, but it just wasn't the same. Still, it was nice to see the old gang one more time.
