Puzzle Description:

Only my second attempt! Sorry so simple! I hope to get better with each attempt!

The "V" creates a lot of problems with this puzzle. I think it could be solvable if black cells were added to R9C11, R9C15, R11C12, and R11C14.

To expound on why the "V" is problematic:

If you look at columns 11 and 12, you have the clues 1 and 2 respectively. The corresponding rows (8 - 10) have 1 clues. So your intended solution would fill in R8C11, R9C12, and R10C12. But the clues would not limit this as the only solution. If R8C12, R9C12, and R10C11 were filled in, then this arrangement also satisfies the clues.

That is why I suggested adding the cells above so the clues will force you to the intended solution and make the puzzle unique.

I solved it using "I bet those are supposed to be hearts" logic. :))
#4: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Apr 27, 2022 [SPOILER]
And "That has to be a V" logic :)

The title combined with the easy to get "L" made the "O" obvious then the rest fell together with the "logic" methods Bullet and kristen cite above.

This is a cute little puzzle! Thanks for giving me permission to guess. Being a 'rule follower', I am very resistant to guessing, but that was really fun!

Found to require some guessing by gator.
