Good one! I was about half done, and thought Oh, this looks interesting -- looked at the title and realized: Sally sells sea shells down by the seashore". This would make a good series!

Fun solve, though I'd neve heard of Sally, by name.
I'd always heard "She sells sea shells..." which is more of a tongue twister

Had no idea what this was until I read the comments above. I guess I was just too tired to see it on my own.

same as BT, I've only ever heard "she sells seashells by the seashore."

I've heard both versions. True story: she wants people to know her name is Sally, for branding purposes, but her leading competitor, Molly, is trying to keep it obscure by just spreading "She sells seashells by the seashore," in hopes of tricking customers into buying her knock-offs. Don't be fooled by Molly's mollusks!
