Puzzle Description:

At what point did the title click?

#1: CB Paul (cbpaul) on Jul 11, 2021

Hasn't clicked yet, but then I haven't had enough coffee yet.

I see your point
#3: Belita (belita) on Jul 11, 2021
R you missing something?
#4: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jul 11, 2021
About 10 seconds after reading the description. Clever.

I also love the wordplay with the word "click". It's a nice touch.

Pointing, clicking, maybe separated pointers? Slip an R in there somewhere maybe?
I sense a forehead-slapping moment coming...
#6: Gator (gator) on Jul 12, 2021
It took me reading the comments and a few seconds before I understand the title. Nice puzzle!

Nothing is clicking for me and it is driving me crazy. I see "point, pointer, pointing..." Everyone is saying, "R." Is that simply a divider...or maybe an "I?" Then there is another "pointer, arrow, up..."

Finger pointing?

Doesn't "Curses" usually go with, "Curses, foiled again!"

Maybe it's not an arrow...maybe it's a tree falling over...could it be "Finger Timber!

Will someone show me a little mercy...I'm in dire straits here!

JoDeen, these are cursors (the pointer thingies on your screen). The three shown are popular options. Cursors / curses, get it?

I thought of - the shortest distance between two points is a straight line.

Thank you, Bill. This is one I wouldn't have gotten without your help. I am deeply appreciative. I know what cursors are, of course...I would just never think of that hand as one...nor that funny one in the middle. Sigh. I need to be more up on things. I'm working on it! Thank you again!
#13: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Jul 15, 2021 [SPOILER]
JoDeen, all three of those cursors can be seen on this page.

The arrow is the "normal" pointer.

The middle one is the text cursor - it should show up whenever you are over text, or in a text box.

The hand is shown when you are over a link.

Didn't get it until I read the others. Good illustration now that I know what it means.
