Look at that font!#3: CB Paul (cbpaul) on Jul 4, 2021 [SPOILER]
Must be one of the fancy versions of T.P.
I thought of that one too, and the font matches.#4: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Jul 4, 2021 [SPOILER]
Steve, you have collected all five wedges.#5: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jul 5, 2021
I knew this right away, although I had only ever seen it once. (Actually, I was waiting to see it come up.) My Dad has the really old original version, I think the original. It's got a navy blue box and a very scrolly font. I knew this had to be it.#6: Gator (gator) on Jul 6, 2021 [SPOILER]
Five wedges? I thought I remembered there were six...#7: Bill Eisenmann (Bullet) on Jul 6, 2021
6 wedges#8: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Jul 7, 2021 [SPOILER]
OOPS! 6 wedges. According to Uncle Wiki...the Geography category is blue, Entertainment is pink, History is yellow, Arts & Literature is originally brown, later purple, Science & Nature is green, and Sports & Leisure is orange.#9: Car Geis (cgeisler) on Jul 7, 2021
A great, fun series, Brian. I have a friend who is a board game designer, and I've shared these with her as well#10: Mat (Keiimaster) on Jul 8, 2021 [SPOILER]
I don't usually post personal stories here, but I have to on this one. When I was kid circa 1985 or 1986, my parents and I were playing the original version with our next door neighbors. My mom asked a Sports question to Mr. Next-door. I don't recall the exact question, but it was something like who held some NHL record. He thought about it for a moment and said "Me!", and of course he was right! For our neighbor was Mr. Hockey himself, Geordie Howe. He was the answer to 3 questions that night, and to this day, that is my benchmark for success, to be the answer to a Trivial Pursuit question.....I am not there yet though. Thanks for reading.#11: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jul 8, 2021
super cool story!#12: Aurelian Ginkgo (AurelianGinkgo) on Jul 8, 2021
That is a cool story. I have friends who got to stay at an air b&b that was owned by a famous football star. I don't remember his name, but they didn't even know who he was until someone faintly recognized him and asked if he was So-and-so. In fact, he was. It was a modest place, so it wasn't even like it was obvious someone rich owed the property. Needless to say, that was a cool week for them.#13: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Jul 10, 2021
Love the personal stories on here...how fun!#14: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Jul 10, 2021 [SPOILER]
Is one of the answers to a Trivial Pursuit question "nerdy physics teacher"?
