That's entirely on me. This is a neat image & the red dots are used cleverly without feeling random
Also, Brain Droppings is a good quick clever read.
Funny you should say that Andrew, since the brain and drops went through many revisions in order to get rid of any required guessing. I sort of kept randomly rearranged the lines in the brain until I decided to just add a black border to it, which also made it look better by coincidence. Thanks for the feedback, though!
