I know this song. I've heard these lyrics the wrong way, but I am drawing a blank. Arrrgh. I'm sure someone will get this quickly. So I thank you in advance for not making me wait too long. haha.

Who's shirt is yellow black and gold

well, there's the John Fogarty song "The Old Man Down the Road", and he could certainly be a wino.

I keep hearing the music for "there's a bad moon on the rise", so I guess I just have Fogarty on the brain.

Oh, wait! Is it the Stephen Stills, "Love the one you're with"?

And there's a wino.....down the road...
And the eagle flies....with the dove...

Maybe not?

Good one, Brian! Speaking of CCR, to this day I cannot listen to Bad Moon on the Rise without hearing "there's the bathroom on the right". Am I alone in this?

Sara got it. Good job Sara. After drinking that whole bottle, that wino might need a bathroom on the right. Or he may have to pee in the corner, pee in the spotlight.
