I think (at a quick working-out) there are at least 8640 solutions to this puzzle.

Where does that number come from? Anyhow, when the various logics fill in various bits, it will become clearer.

I believe the S has approx. 20 solutions, Colbert's face lines have 6 on the left side and 6 on the right side of his chin and 6 on his neck, and another 2 for his nose. That's the 8640.
Looking again, the downstroke on the lower R also has 2 solutions, and the middle of the N has another 6 solutions, which brings us up to 103,680

I'm swamped with other stuff for the next week or so, but I'll revisit this one and try to make it more solvable.
And just to clarify, I never said any version of "easy".

Oh I wasn't saying you said easy. At the time it was rated as multiple solutions but the correct one is easily guessed. I'll resolve this over the weekend probably.

well...now whenever i try to save my progress it fills everything in with dots with errors all over the place. going to have to draw the line...if i can't save, i'm not going to struggle through a puzzle this large with multiple solutions...sorry.
