Chinese pagoda decorated with paper lamps

This is a pretty image, and most of it is solvable, but the black tree branches and the curls off the ends of the pagoda roof have many, many possible solutions and can only be solved by guessing.

It would really be very easy to fix this puzzle up so that it had a unique solution and solved well, and if you did so, then it would be a very nice puzzle.

Edit the puzzle again, you should only need to change a few pixels. After you've made changes, click on the "Check" button at the bottom of the screen. If it says you have multiple solutions, then use the "Toggle" button to see them. This will give you clues about what to change.

I would suggest the following changes:

1. Add some more black pixels around the bottom two tree branches, thickening them up so they look more like the top one.

2. Change the two black curls coming off the edges of the red roofs to red.

3. The closest hunk of green leaves to the trunk of the tree on the third branch from the top will need to be enlarged by a couple pixels.

What changes you make are up to you, but I think just a few small adjustments will suffice to change this from an insolvable puzzle to a lovely one. I hope you can do that for us.

I don't know if the puzzle has changed since Jan's post, but I had no difficulty solving it logically.
I did make one guess on the middle roof curl, and assumed that I would have figured that was where it went logically anyways.
