I get the strangest looks when I walk around holding up my folded umbrella on a sunny day :)

Edge logic on first column makes it easy.

I need to learn how to make what should be a simple image more solvable ...

I did Edge logic on the bottom 5 and the first column and voila!

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by dbouldin.

And here I was expecting a sun hat! Silly me.

I did the same as Jota.

Your umbrella has a bent handle, so I hope it doesn't rain.

If only it was umbrella weather now!

Noting the puzzle number reminds me of stuff I wanted to try to create and share, but I let it sit in a corner. It's good to know other people have let somehing sit, too!

Bill, I don't think edge logic makes an image less solvable/fun to solve. In fact, sometimes it puts in a small neat challenge that goes beyond just arithmetic. It's neat to figure where and when to use edge logic. But it is fun to play with colors etc. to see what might allow for only line/color logic solving.

It can be tough to find that sweet spot between too hard and too easy, because that's subjective, and here I think the edge logic added to things nicely.
